The DCRO Boardroom Live Lab is an immersive, cohort learning experience designed for board members, C-suite executives, and governance professionals who want to strengthen their ability to lead from uncertainty to opportunity. Building on the DCRO Institute’s global reputation for advancing the positive governance of risk-taking, the Live Lab brings together leaders from around the world to engage in real-time, scenario-based learning that mirrors the dynamics of the modern boardroom. Quarterly cohorts are formed among your peers covering case studies, tabletop exercises, emerging risk briefings, and more, all designed for interactive learning and problem-solving.
Each Live Lab session is a facilitated, interactive experience that blends case-based learning, peer dialogue, and strategic simulation. Participants work with their fellow cohort members through real-world boardroom challenges—covering the most important and timely issues confronting boards today—guided by Qualified Risk Directors®, Qualified Risk Experts™, and DCRO Institute faculty.
Our case study sessions offer an in-depth exploration of risk governance strategies implemented by leading organizations. Participants analyze real-world scenarios, learning from each other, their facilitator, and real-world cases they study.
Time-sensitive discussions of geopolitics, emerging risks, technologies, regulations, and more, led by experts in the area of concern. Facilitated discussion of the key challenges these situations present, as well as approaches taken to identify opportunities and needs for resiliency.
